Thanks for using Resumio. The short version: your resume data never leaves your device. We don't run a backend, we don't have user accounts, and we never see what you type.

1. What data we collect

We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell any of the resume information you enter into the builder. All of it — your name, contact details, work history, education, skills, and any custom sections — is saved only in your own browser's local storage. It never reaches our servers because we do not operate any servers that receive this data.

If you clear your browser's site data, or use private/incognito mode, your saved progress will be lost. You can also clear it yourself at any time using the "Clear all" button in the builder.

2. Cookies and tracking

Resumio itself does not set any cookies. However, the following third-party services we use may set cookies:

3. PDF and Word file generation

When you download your resume, the file is generated entirely inside your browser using open-source JavaScript libraries. The generated file is sent only to your own device. We never see the file or its contents.

4. Children's privacy

Resumio is intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

5. Your rights under GDPR and CCPA

Since we do not collect or store your personal data on any server, there is no personal data for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf. You retain full control of your data at all times, directly in your own browser.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever we make material changes.
