By using Resumio (the "Service") you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. The Service

Resumio is a free, browser-based tool that lets you create resumes and download them as PDF or Word documents. No account or signup required. All your data is stored locally in your browser and is never transmitted to us.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to create resumes containing false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the Service to operate a competing product.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service at scale.

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the resume content you create. We claim no ownership over anything you type, generate, or download. Since we don't store your content on our servers, you alone are responsible for backing it up.

4. Free service — no warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that generated PDFs and Word files will be accepted by every Applicant Tracking System or employer.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resumio is not liable for any damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service — including lost data, lost job opportunities, or lost income. Your sole remedy is to stop using the Service.

6. Third-party services

The Service includes advertising provided by Google AdSense and may include analytics. These third parties have their own terms and privacy policies.

7. Intellectual property

The Resumio name, logo, design, and code are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

8. Changes

We may modify or discontinue the Service at any time, and may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of Resumio resides.
